She is a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS) through the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp) and a Certified ARFID Specialist. Jamie is deeply committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based nutrition care and helping individuals heal their relationship with food and their bodies. Virtual Nutrition Counseling For Adults & Adolescents Specializing in:

Eating Disorders

We provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy, which includes personalized meal planning, nutritional counseling, and intervention to help individuals with eating disorders normalize their eating patterns and develop a healthier relationship with food.

Diabetes

We work with clients with diabetes in nutrition therapy from a Health at Every Size perspective. We prioritize overall well-being, focusing on behavior changes rather than weight loss, and promoting a balanced approach to eating that supports blood sugar management and individual health goals.

Pre/Post-Natal

Working with clients pre and postnatal in nutrition therapy involves providing specialized guidance and support to optimize maternal and fetal health, address nutrient deficiencies, and promote a balanced diet during pregnancy and the postpartum period.

Jamie takes a compassionate, client-centered approach to nutrition therapy, grounded in a weight-inclusive and trauma-informed philosophy. She believes that healing from an eating disorder requires more than just nutritional rehabilitation, it involves rebuilding trust with food, body, and self.

Jamie works collaboratively with clients to create a safe, supportive space where all bodies are respected, and individual experiences are honored. Her approach integrates evidence-based nutrition practices with an understanding of the emotional and psychological complexities of eating disorders, empowering clients to move toward lasting recovery and a more peaceful relationship with food.

Approach to Care

Our Philosophy

  • Health at Every Size (HAES)

When working with nutrition therapy clients from a Health at Every Size (HAES) angle, the focus is on promoting well-being and overall health rather than weight loss. HAES emphasizes individualized and flexible eating based on hunger, satiety, nutritional needs, and pleasure, rather than adhering to external regulations.

  • Anti-Diet

We reject the societal emphasis on thinness and challenge harmful diet culture beliefs. We aim to educate clients about intuitive eating, body acceptance, and the importance of self-care. Our goal is to help clients develop a more attuned relationship with their bodies, honoring hunger and fullness cues, and embracing a wide range of foods without guilt or shame.

  • Intuitive Eating

The goal of incorporating intuitive eating in nutrition therapy is to help individuals develop a healthy and sustainable relationship with food. By embracing intuitive eating principles, individuals can reconnect with their body's wisdom, rebuild trust in their own hunger and satiety cues, and ultimately achieve a balanced and joyful approach to nourishing themselves.
